The PR18-8DN is an M18 inductive proximity sensor with an 8 mm sensing range and NPN output. The extended 8 mm range for the M18 class enables detection across larger installation gaps, suitable for sensing through guards, covers, or with significant mounting tolerance. Used in large cylinder sensing, gear tooth detection, and proximity monitoring on heavy industrial machinery.
