The BWC40-12H is a cross-beam area sensor system with 12 beams in a crossed optical arrangement at 40 mm pitch, enabling two-dimensional zone detection. The cross-beam configuration detects objects entering from multiple directions within the sensing field, providing more comprehensive zone coverage than linear area sensors. Applicable in robotic safety zones, machine access detection, and 2D presence confirmation.
